I remember well how focused and efficient Kristine was when we were working on a USDA-funded grant project together. The grant was pulled together in a hurry, so in addition to meeting grant requirements, we had to backtrack and develop meaningful goals, measures, and partnerships.  Kristine stepped in as project manager and made things happen.  I was particularly impressed with her facilitation skills, the variety of tools at her fingertips, and the ease and accuracy with which she chose just the right combination of tools to get us to a particular outcome.  Because of her leadership, our project spawned all kinds of spin-off projects and programs that still exist today.  She also learned how to evaluate our work and kept us focused on meaningful outcomes.  Kristine was a lot of fun which I consider to be critical in any long-term project!

In her role as Internal Evaluation Champion, Kristine was extremely adept at keeping us focused on our goals and objectives. She created tools and a reporting mechanism specifically for our organization that forced us to do analysis and informed decision-making. She was also strong on continuous organizational evaluation which helped us determine if the help we were providing was on track with the programs needed by our customers.
